Examination and Promotion

The academic session comprises of two terms : Term - I and Term - II
Term -1 : March to August which comprises of two Periodic Tests (PT1 & PT2) and Half yearly Examination.
Term -2 : September to February which comprises of one Periodic Test (PT3 ) and Annual Examination.

STD. X & XII – As per CBSE guidelines

  All assessment must be answered by every student.
  A student is required to have 75% of total attendance of the academic session for promotion to the next class..
  Promotion is granted on the average of all the grades in the year. In case of Std IX & X, guidelines from CBSE will be followed
  A candidate must obtain a minimum of Grade D in all the subjects under Scholastic areas (excluding additional 6th subject as per Scheme of Studies) for promotion to next class.

Grades will be awarded in Co-Scholastic Areas on a 3 point grading scale A, B, C. from Std. (I - VIII) and 5 point grading scale, A, B, C, D, E from Std. (IX - X)
